What drives YOU?
I am severely interested in what makes one so determined or knowing that they are, or can be something great. Sheer talent, determination and chance all play a factor, yes. But it is different path, the path of every "great" one I think.
For instance, Michael Jordan was cut by his high school basketball team. His ANGER drove him to be greater. He actually turned his anger into a self determination to beat whoever got in his way. he actually was known to make up/come up with reasons to fuel his anger toward his opponent in his career to propel and give way to nurture his anger into magnificent performance.
How did these young athletes know, or believe that they had something special enough to cultivate it enough to reach the top?? All stories have to be so interesting and different, and I quite frankly would like to ask them. The first person I will ask is Jonathan Toews, that sweet doll. Did ONE special person believe in you far greater than you imagined yourself capable of, or was it in yourself? Did you ever question other talents to cultivate, or was it always unquestionably hockey?
Back to anger....I am interested in the concept of anger being something to ignite a response. if you do not respond or try to make it right, or get even...does it fester forever? Or can you actually ever truly let it go? I know time heals, but does it ever heal totally? Or does taking action towards what angered you really behave as the only justice...in the end?
